A Local Place Plan (LPP) is the community’s opportunity to have a say about the use of land and building assets in their local area. This first draft of the Dunoon and Kirn Local Place Plan relates to Community Council ward of Dunoon and Kirn. The process of creating the plan has been co-ordinated by Dunoon Community Development Trust in partnership with a wide range of local stakeholders and members of our local community.  Our goal is to submit a final Dunoon and Kirn Local Place Plan in November 2025.

Alongside the development of a Local Place Plan, the consultation process is also informing the development of a new Community Action Plan for Dunoon and Kirn. A Community Action Plan will help establish a clear set of goals and funding prioritise at a local level.
